I love the Bob-o-Pedic Foam Memory Mattress. The feeling as if I'm
sleeping in air helps me sleep much sounder and I wake up feeling
refreshed and ready for the day. I really like the way the foam conforms
to my body curves that gives me the feeling of laying down completely
flat. Because of the foam conforming to my body curves there's no space
between the mattress and my neck, back and knees. When I slept on my
coil-spring mattress I would place a small pillow under my neck, back
and knees many times when sleeping. Sleeping on a Foam Memory Mattress I
don't have to place pillows under my neck, back or knees anymore.
The Cons To Consider
If you like bouncing straight out of bed or appreciate a coil-spring mattresses bounce when moving around during the night then sleeping on a foam memory mattress probably would not be for you. When I wake up in the morning and go to pop out of bed, I don't pop out of bed anymore instead I have to sit straight up and place my feet on the floor to rise from the foam mattress. If you want to flip over or roll over to sleep on your side during the night you need to absolutely lift your body up to reposition yourself. It takes more effort to move around in a foam memory mattress but the point of sleeping on a foam memory mattress is not needing to move around much at all. I noticed when sleeping on the foam memory mattress I don't feel the need to move around a lot. I believe that's the point of sleeping on a foam memory mattress.

Two Layers Cover Foam
The picture below shows the actual foam mattress under two layers of foam fitted coverings. The two layers of coverings are zipped over the mattress and are a part of the Bob-o-Pedic Foam Memory Mattress. The foam mattress is sold with the two layers already zipped over it the foam mattress.
Box-Spring for Bob-o-Pedic
The
next picture shows the box-spring. I did not need to buy a bed-frame
but I did decide to buy the box-spring made specifically for the
Bob-o-Pedic mattress. It's sturdy, strong and has a think layer of
material covering it that gives it a clean finished look. A bed-frame is
not necessary unless you want the mattress to be higher and to have
space under the bed. If you decide to place the box-spring directly on
the floor I suggest buying a package of ez-sliders. Ez-sliders placed
under the box-spring will allow you to move the mattress set around
easily if need be. Ez-sliders slide across almost all floor surfaces.
Zipped Cover Over Foam Mattress
The picture here shows orange rubber dots that are a part of the bottom outer layer of the foam mattress covering. When the mattress is placed on the box-spring the dots prevent the mattress from sliding and moving around. The bottom outer layer covering grips to the box-spring material so it does not slide or move.
The picture below is another picture of the Bob-o-Pedic's top side of the foam mattress cover with the rubber dots on the bottom. The mattress is placed on to of the box-spring with the rubber dots holding it in place.
Bonus: If you decide to buy a Bob-o-Pedic keep in mind that when it's delivered the delivery persons will take your old mattress with them so you don't have to get ride of it yourself. One less thing for you to do when buying a new mattress from Bob's Furniture Store.
